Infographics
Communicating complicated information in a short amount of time is crucial to entrepreneurial success. In addition to writing papers and giving presentations, communicating through visual formats is becoming more important. I created an assignment in 2021 where students create an infographic for a key piece of information for a business plan they are developing. The infographic should tell a story using a highly visual format.
For the assignment, I ask that the infographic is:
Focused one single but important message about your business plan or the research behind it
Ordered so that the infographic has a flow that is easy to identify the beginning and the path to the end
Visually engaging with graphics providing the majority of communications and words serving as support for the visual story.
